The next generation of human resource firm.
As the nation faces 11% unemployment and systemic injustice, we need to empower marginalized communities to build prosperity and advancement. Purpose was created as a response to this challenge—a major new staffing and placement firm that propels talented and under-resourced youth throughout Chicago to long-term careers within America’s leading startups and corporations.
It takes more than placement to turn around a life; it takes extensive success coaching and support, building the resilience, and grit for life and career success. The Purpose brand needed to be as much about sourcing jobs as the long-term support network that mentors candidates towards career success.
Silva Brand deployed its signature Brand Discovery and Definition process to create a brand strategy to power the company’s launch. Working with our design team, we created a stylish new logo and bold visual expression that would reach millennial and Gen Z-age job seekers as well as HR directors within blue-chip corporations.
Purpose’s brand is designed to reach both Opportunity Youth and HR executives at Fortune 500 companies.
Working with the Purpose leadership, we created a stylish moodboard that referenced youth-oriented fashion and lifestyle brands. The board influenced the ultimate color scheme, geometry, and font choices.
The stylish new brochure promotes Purpose to the universe of 20-something job seekers.
Purpose’s business cards are designed to be trendy and eye-catching.
The budget was slim but we got it done—wrote the script, hired the V.O. talent, and art directed every frame of the Purpose explainer video.
"I’ve worked with several branding firms in my career, and I can say that my experience with Silva Brand was by far the best. Tom Silva took a real interest in our industry and in understanding how we were positioning ourselves within the industry. With that insight, Tom delivered a brand that perfectly fit the vision we had. I highly recommend Tom and his team to anyone who wants to take their branding to the next level."
